A day in Cardiff
Last Saturday we went to Cardiff to visit Salwa's cousin, Aslin. We took the train and the journey took 40 minutes. When we arrived we were quited baffled by the presence of policemen standing around at the station's lobby. Rupanya a rugby match between South Africa and Wales hari atu jua.

What a cool city. They even have their own Hard Rock Cafe!

3rd week in Bristol
Napier court
It's our third week in Bristol. It's COLD and i'm bored to my wits. So, i decided to create my own blog! At least dapat jua share cerita and pics with those in Brunei.
As i mentioned in my profile, i'm temporarily a house-husband so my daily routine would be not so challenging. Bangun tidur, breakfast, layan anak, hantar bini ke Campus, then hantar Hani ke sekolah, then pick up my wife and daughter from school, fix dinner and watch more tv. boring kan?
Kan fishing, nada partner. Fishing shop lagi alum tercari. Kan fishing, jauh and also sajuk gila masa ani. Kan carp fishing, boring kali ah! I hope all the hassle of bringing my precious rods from Brunei pays off soon.
Anyway, let me tell you something about Bristol and where we live. Bristol is surprisingly BIG. Clifton, where Bristol Uni is situated, is very hilly and payah cari parking. You can go mental driving there. Banyak narrow streets and dead-end streets. Not like Norwich lah. Bristol city centre, on the other hand, is confusing. Drive in the wrong lane, habis! So, always keep center. Nevertheless, Bristol is a very picturesque city. Banyak lagi kan kami lawat.
We live in Napier Court. It's in a very nice neighbourhood and near the harbour, so it's very scenic. Kalau kan ke bandar, boleh naik ferry. It's about 5-10 mins drive to Uni, depending on traffic. Our flat is a small 2 bedroom fully furnished house. hehehehe...... boleh lah tahan jua ganya single glaze taboknya and ani lah masalah , sajuk gilaa rumah d buat nya , ani lagi kan winter... naik tah bill karan ni.... uhuk uhuk uhuk...
Guess what? Disini kami saja Bruneian family. Our Malaysian friends said ada lagi satu family, but none of the Brunieans here have met them. And there are 12 undergrads studying in Bristol Uni, 4 guys and 8 girls. Hari atu, after three weeks di sini, baru tah kami sekeluarga have a proper hari raya. sedih kan? We invited all the bruneian kids (so called Brustolians) to our humble flat and had a small makan. It was great to finally meet Bruneians. Selama ani kami selalu hang out sama other Malaysian post-grads di Bristol Uni. They're very nice and very helpful. Di Bristol ani ada 31 Malaysian families, and loads of undergrads. Membari iski mendangar. Kitani? Dui....campur kami anak beranak, semuanya 15 orang. Kan membuat union pun nda cukup. hehehehe...
so far, ani saja dulu ah...will keep you all updated with my so unchallenging, but hopefully soon to change life in Bristol.
Signing off, Liverpool Vs Athletico Madrid, here i come!!!! (Apa rasanya Chelsea ah?)
